Bledsoe had a successful career as a quarterback in the NFL. He played for the New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, and Dallas Cowboys. He was a four-time Pro Bowler and led the NFL in passing yards in 1994 and 1996. Bledsoe helped lead the Patriots to the Super Bowl in 1997, but they lost to the Green Bay Packers. In 2001, Bledsoe suffered a major injury that resulted in him being replaced by Tom Brady. Brady then led the team to win the Super Bowl that year. Bledsoe was traded to the Buffalo Bills in 2002 and played for them for two seasons before being traded to the Dallas Cowboys in 2005. Bledsoe retired from the NFL after the 2006 season.

Today, Bledsoe is retired from football and has turned his focus to winemaking. He launched Doubleback Winery in Walla Walla, Washington, in 2007. He is also active in philanthropy and started the Bledsoe Family Foundation, which aims to support the children of military and first responders. Bledsoe will always be remembered as one of the most successful quarterbacks in NFL history, and his impact on the sport continues to be felt to this day.
