Eric Dickerson Autographs
Eric Dickerson is a former American football running back who was born on September 2, 1960, in Sealy, Texas. He played college football at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where he set numerous records, including the single-season rushing record with 1,617 yards in 1982. In 1983, he was drafted second overall by the Los Angeles Rams and became an instant star in the NFL.
During his NFL career, Eric Dickerson was known for his exceptional speed, agility, and ability to run through tackles. In his rookie season with the Rams, he set a single-season rushing record with 1,808 yards, which still stands today. He was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and was selected to the Pro Bowl. In 1984, he broke his own rushing record with 2,105 yards, which remains the highest single-season total in NFL history. He was also named the NFL Offensive Player of the Year that season.
In addition to playing for the Rams, Eric Dickerson also played for the Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Raiders, and Atlanta Falcons during his NFL career. He was a six-time Pro Bowler, a five-time All-Pro selection, and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999. Eric Dickerson is widely regarded as one of the greatest running backs in NFL history and his records still stand as a testament to his greatness.
