Eric Reid Autographs
Eric Reid is a former American football player who played as a free safety in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on December 10, 1991, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU) from 2010 to 2012, where he was regarded as one of the top defensive players in the nation. During his college career, he was named an All-American, won the SEC Championship twice, and helped the LSU Tigers reach the BCS National Championship game in 2012.
In 2013, Eric Reid was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the NFL Draft. He spent the first five seasons of his NFL career with the 49ers, where he established himself as one of the league's premier safeties. He was named to the Pro Bowl in his rookie season and was a first-team All-Pro in 2013. He finished his 49ers career with 10 interceptions, seven forced fumbles, and 318 tackles.
In 2018, Eric Reid signed with the Carolina Panthers, where he played for three seasons. In 2021, he announced his retirement from the NFL at the age of 29. Throughout his football career, Reid was known for his physicality, instincts, and versatility. He was a playmaker on the field and a leader in the locker room. Off the field, Reid was also an activist and vocal advocate for social justice, often taking a knee during the national anthem to protest police brutality and racial inequality.
