Heath Miller is a former American football player who played as a tight end for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2005 to 2015. Born on October 22, 1982, in Richlands, Virginia, Miller was a standout athlete in football, basketball, and baseball during his high school days. After his stellar high school career, Miller enrolled at the University of Virginia where he continued to excel on the football field. In his college career, Miller recorded 144 receptions for 1,703 yards and 20 touchdowns, earning first-team All-ACC honors twice. In 2005, he was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the NFL Draft, 30th overall.
