He played college football for the Arkansas Razorbacks, where he began as a defensive lineman before transitioning to tight end. Despite going undrafted in 2004, Peters signed with the Buffalo Bills as a free agent.
Peters' NFL career has been marked by remarkable longevity and success. He started as a special teams player and tight end for the Bills before converting to offensive tackle. His exceptional performance earned him Pro Bowl selections in 2007 and 2008. In 2009, Peters was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles, where he solidified his status as one of the league's premier left tackles.
