Jeff George is a former American professional football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons from 1990 until 2001. George was born on December 8, 1967, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Warren Central High School in Indianapolis where he played football, baseball, and basketball. George went on to play college football at Purdue University where he set Big Ten Conference record for passing attempts, completions, yards, and touchdowns. More about Jeff George

Jeff George was drafted as the first overall pick by the Indianapolis Colts in the 1990 NFL Draft. He played for the Colts from 1990 to 1993 before moving on to play for several teams including the Atlanta Falcons, Oakland Raiders, Minnesota Vikings, and Washington Redskins. George's best season came in 1997 when he threw for 3,917 passing yards and 29 touchdowns with the Oakland Raiders.
