Kareem Jackson is a former American football cornerback who played for the Denver Broncos in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on April 10, 1988, in Macon, Georgia, where he attended Westside High School. Jackson was a standout athlete in high school and played football, basketball, and track. After graduating from high school in 2007, Jackson attended the University of Alabama, where he played college football for the Crimson Tide. He started all 13 games for Alabama as a freshman in 2007 and earned SEC All-Freshman honors. Jackson continued to improve throughout his college career and was named a first-team All-SEC selection in 2009 and 2010. He also helped lead Alabama to a national championship in the 2009 season.
