Kendall Hunter Autographs
Kendall Hunter is a retired American football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for six seasons. Born on September 16, 1988, in Tyler, Texas, Hunter led John Tyler High School to its first state title in 2004, thereby earning himself a scholarship to play college football at Oklahoma State University. He made an immediate impact at college, breaking the freshman rushing record with 696 yards in the 2007 season. Over the course of his college career, Hunter amassed 4,181 rushing yards and scored 37 touchdowns.
Hunter was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Despite being undersized for his position, he proved to be a valuable asset to the 49ers as a running back and kick returner during his first two seasons. In his rookie year, he rushed for 473 yards and scored two touchdowns, averaging 4.2 yards per carry. In 2012, he racked up 371 rushing yards and scored two more touchdowns. Unfortunately, Hunter's promising career was cut short by a devastating ACL injury that he sustained during a game against the New Orleans Saints in November 2012.
After his injury, Hunter spent the rest of his career bouncing between different teams, including the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints, before eventually retiring in 2018. Despite the premature end to his NFL journey, Hunter is still remembered as a determined and hard-hitting running back who never shied away from a physical challenge. He remains an inspiration to those who aspire to pursue their dreams against all odds.
