Mark Schlereth is a former American professional football player who is widely regarded as one of the toughest and most talented offensive linemen of his era. Born on January 25, 1966, in Anchorage, Alaska, he played college football at the University of Idaho, where he excelled as a guard. Schlereth's NFL career spanned a total of 12 seasons and was marked by his tenacity and physical toughness. He was renowned for his ability to play through pain and injury, and for his unrelenting work ethic. He won three Super Bowls, two with the Redskins in 1991 and 1992 and one with the Denver Broncos in 1998, where he played the final six years of his career. Schlereth was a two-time Pro Bowl selection and was known for his exceptional blocking and pass protection abilities.
