Rich Rodriguez Autographs
Rich Rodriguez is a former American football player and coach who had a successful career in the sports industry. Born on May 24, 1963, in Grant Town, West Virginia, Rodriguez was actively involved in football from a young age. He played as a defensive back for his high school team and then went on to play at West Virginia University from 1981 to 1984. As a college athlete, Rodriguez was known for his skillful play and was even recognized as an Academic All-American in his final year.
After his playing career ended, Rich Rodriguez began coaching college football. He spent time as an assistant coach at several universities before becoming the head coach of West Virginia University in 2001. During his time as head coach, Rodriguez led the team to several successful seasons, including three Big East Conference championships, and a spot in the Sugar Bowl in 2006. He later moved on to coach at the University of Michigan and then the University of Arizona, where he led the Wildcats to a 10-win season and a victory in the New Mexico Bowl during his tenure.
