Silas Redd Autographs
Silas Redd Jr. is an American football running back who is known for his swift and agile playing style. Born on March 23, 1992 in Norwalk, Connecticut, Redd grew up playing backyard football with his friends and family. He attended King Low Heywood Thomas School where he excelled as a football player, setting school records for rushing yards and touchdowns. In his senior year, he was named the Connecticut Post All-State Offensive Player of the Year.
In college, Redd played for the Penn State Nittany Lions and was a standout player for the team. In his sophomore year, he led the team in rushing, earning a spot on the All-Big Ten Second Team. Before his junior year, Redd transferred to the University of Southern California to play for the Trojans. In his first season with the team, he rushed for over 900 yards and scored nine touchdowns, helping the Trojans to a 10-2 record. During his time at USC, Redd was known for his speed and tough running style, earning him the nickname "The Redd Baron."
In 2014, Redd entered the NFL draft, but went undrafted. Despite this setback, he signed with the Washington Redskins as a free agent and appeared in six games during the 2014 season. He was released by the team in 2015 and signed with the Buffalo Bills, but was later released during the preseason. In 2016, Redd signed with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League, but only appeared in two games before being released. Although his professional career was brief, Silas Redd's skills on the football field made him a memorable player to watch.
