Sterling Sharpe is a former American football player born in Glenville, Georgia, on April 6, 1965. Sharpe is one of the most talented players to ever grace the football field. During his seven-year NFL career, all with the Green Bay Packers, Sharpe caught 595 passes for 8,134 yards and 65 touchdowns. He was selected to the Pro Bowl five times and named First-Team All-Pro three times. He led the league in receptions with 108 catches in 1992 and set a record with 112 catches in 1993. In 1994, Sharpe suffered a career-ending neck injury, forcing him to retire at the young age of 29.
