Chris Pronger Autographs

Chris ProngerChris Pronger is a former ice hockey player who was drafted to the National Hockey League (NHL) and enjoyed a successful career spanning over two decades. Born on October 10, 1974 in Dryden, Ontario, Canada, he started playing hockey at a young age and eventually made his way to the NHL, where he played for five different teams during his career. Pronger was known for being a skilled defenseman and was regarded as one of the best in the league during his time.
Pronger was drafted in 1993 by the Hartford Whalers and spent three seasons with the team before being traded to the St. Louis Blues in 1995. It was with the Blues that Pronger earned his first accolades, winning the Norris Trophy as the league's top defenseman in both 2000 and 2001. In 2003, he led the Blues to the Western Conference Finals but fell short of making it to the Stanley Cup Finals. Pronger then played for the Edmonton Oilers, Anaheim Ducks, and Philadelphia Flyers, with the latter two teams seeing him earn a Stanley Cup championship in 2007 and 2010, respectively.
Despite his success on the ice, Pronger's hockey career was cut short due to injuries, particularly a concussion sustained in 2011. He officially retired from the NHL in 2017 and shortly after took on a job with the Florida Panthers as the Senior Vice President of Hockey Operations. Pronger's contributions to the sport of hockey will not be forgotten, with his name forever etched in the record books and being inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2015.
