Mike Knuble Autograph

Mike Knuble is a former American professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League for almost 20 years. He was born on July 4, 1972, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, but he grew up in Kentwood, Michigan. Knuble played college hockey for the University of Michigan for four years before he was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the fourth round of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. More about Mike Knuble

Throughout his NHL career, Knuble played for teams such as the Detroit Red Wings, the New York Rangers, the Boston Bruins, the Philadelphia Flyers, and the Washington Capitals. He was a reliable forward who provided scoring and physical play for his teams. Knuble was particularly successful during his time with the Flyers, where he scored a total of 114 goals and 221 points in his four seasons with the team. His best season was in 2006-2007 when he scored 34 goals and had 65 points.

In addition to playing in the NHL, Knuble also represented the United States in international competitions. He played for the American team in the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan, and the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy. He also played for Team USA in the 1993 World Championships and the 2004 World Cup of Hockey. After retiring from professional hockey in 2013, Knuble became an assistant coach for the Grand Rapids Griffins, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings.
