Franklin Chang Diaz Autographs
Franklin Chang Diaz is famously known as the first Hispanic-American astronaut who went on to fly on seven space shuttle missions throughout his career. Diaz was born in San Jose, Costa Rica, on April 5, 1950, where he grew up and completed his early education. In 1969, he moved to the United States to attend the University of Connecticut to further his education.

He is the founder and CEO of Ad Astra Rocket Company, a firm focused on the creation of VASIMR technology, which is a plasma-based rocket engine that has the potential to significantly reduce the time required for space travel.
