Bryan Clark Autographs
Bryan Clark was born on January 29, 1953, in Los Angeles, California. He attended the University of Southern California where he played for the USC Trojans baseball team from 1972 to 1975. During his college career, Clark posted a 37-9 record with a 2.50 ERA and was named to the All-Pac-8 Conference team in 1974 and 1975.
After graduating from USC, Clark was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 15th round of the 1975 Major League Baseball draft. He made his MLB debut on August 23, 1978, and spent four seasons with the Mariners before being traded to the Oakland Athletics in 1982. Clark also played for the Toronto Blue Jays, Chicago Cubs, and Milwaukee Brewers before retiring in 1986 with a career record of 24-39 and a 4.36 ERA in 158 games.
Despite his relatively short MLB career, Bryan Clark was known for his competitive nature on the mound and his ability to throw a devastating sinker. He continued to stay involved in baseball after retiring as a player, serving as a pitching coach for several minor league teams. Clark passed away on July 22, 2020, at the age of 67. His contributions to the game of baseball will not soon be forgotten.
