He then moved to the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1985, where he quickly became one of the biggest stars in the industry. His flashy style, trademark catchphrases, and athletic ability made him one of the most popular and recognizable wrestlers of the 1980s and 1990s. Savage held multiple championships throughout his career, including the WWF Championship and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.

Savage retired from professional wrestling in 2005 and tragically passed away in May 2011 due to a heart attack while driving in Florida.
