Steve Austin, born Steven James Anderson in 1964, is a retired American professional wrestler, actor, producer, and television host. Austin began his wrestling career in 1989 in the United States Wrestling Association (USWA) under the ring name “Stunning” Steve Austin. He then signed with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1991 where he gained popularity as one-half of the Hollywood Blonds tag team with Brian Pillman. Austin was known for his signature moves, including the Stone Cold Stunner and the Texas Cloverleaf, and his no-nonsense attitude towards his opponents. More about Steve Austin

In 1995, Austin signed with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and adopted the ring name Stone Cold Steve Austin. His career took off, and he became one of the biggest stars in WWF history. His character, a beer-drinking, trash-talking rebel with a fierce attitude became a fan favorite. Austin's feuds with Vince McMahon and The Rock became legendary, and he won numerous championships, including six WWF championships and three Royal Rumble matches. In 2003, Austin retired from wrestling due to ongoing health issues, and he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009.

After his wrestling career, Austin ventured into acting, hosting his own reality show, and producing his own podcast. Despite his success outside of the ring, his wrestling career is what truly defined Steve Austin’s legacy. He revolutionized the sport and paved the way for future superstars.
