Hrabosky was popular for his unusual pitching style and behavior on the field. He was known for his passionate delivery and aggressive approach towards the game. Before every pitch, he would turn his back completely towards the hitter, take a deep breath, and then spin back around to hurl the ball at the batter with his signature sweeping delivery. He would also talk to himself and repeatedly mutter under his breath to psyche himself up before a pitch, which gained him the nickname “The Mad Hungarian.” However, despite his unorthodox style, Hrabosky became one of the most feared and respected pitchers of his time.In total, we tracked 1300 items since 01/01/2008.
