Bill Haselman is a former professional baseball player born on May 25, 1966, in Long Beach, California. He attended California State University, Fullerton, where he played baseball and was a part of the 1984 and 1985 teams that won the College World Series. Haselman made his Major League debut for the Rangers in 1990, where he spent four seasons as a catcher. In 1994, he was traded to the Boston Red Sox, where he spent three seasons. He went on to play for the Seattle Mariners in 1998, and the Detroit Tigers in 1999, before retiring from professional baseball in 2003. Over his career, Haselman batted .259 with 47 home runs and 210 runs batted in.

After retiring from playing baseball, Haselman went on to coach in the minor leagues. He spent time coaching in the Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox, and Seattle Mariners organizations. In 2017, Haselman was named the manager for the Double-A Texas League affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, the Mobile BayBears.
