In his debut game, he recorded his first major league hit and went on to hit .438 in his first eight games with the Giants. He played in 21 games in his rookie season, hitting .273 with four RBIs. He was then traded to the Cleveland Indians in 2009 but didn't make it to the major league roster. Even though Horwitz's major league career was short-lived, his love for baseball didn't end there. After retiring, he became a hitting coach, helping high school and college players achieve their goals. He is also the founder of Horwitz Baseball, a training camp that has helped many young players develop their skills. Horwitz's career in baseball may have ended, but his passion for the sport lives on through his coaching and mentoring. Read even more about Brian Horwitz at Wikipedia
