Eddie Yost was a professional baseball player born on October 13, 1926, in Brooklyn, New York. Yost’s professional baseball career began in 1944, when he signed with the Brooklyn Dodgers after graduating from high school. However, he spent the first few years of his career in the minors playing for various teams.
