Mike Jackson is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who played for a total of 17 seasons from 1986 to 2004. He was born on December 22, 1964, in Houston, Texas, and attended Forest Brook High School before being drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the second round of the 1984 MLB Draft. Jackson made his major league debut with the Phillies in 1986, but it wasn't until he joined the Seattle Mariners in 1988 that he found consistent success. Over his career, Jackson played for 12 different teams and was known for his durability and ability to pitch effectively out of the bullpen.
