Mo Vaughn is a former American professional baseball player who spent most of his career playing in Major League Baseball for the Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, and Anaheim Angels. Born on December 15, 1967, in Norwalk, Connecticut, his baseball career began when he was drafted by the Red Sox in 1989. Vaughn was a three-time All-Star and regarded as one of the most feared hitters of his time. He played for 12 major league seasons, batting .293 with 328 home runs and 1,064 RBI.
