Vaughn was a three-time All-Star and regarded as one of the most feared hitters of his time. He played for 12 major league seasons, batting .293 with 328 home runs and 1,064 RBI. Though Vaughn played for teams with varying levels of success, he always remained one of the game's most iconic players. In 1998, Vaughn signed a six-year, $80 million contract with the Anaheim Angels, the largest in franchise history, but injuries resulted in a downturn in form, which eventually led him to retire in 2004.

Vaughn left a lasting impact on the game of baseball, becoming one of the most beloved players of his era. His combination of power hitting and defensive skills made him an integral part of his team's lineup. He will always be remembered for his dominance at the plate and his leadership on the field. After his playing days, Vaughn successfully transitioned into a businessman, launching a clothing line called "MVP Collections" and partnering with several companies to invest in real estate development.
