Glaus made his MLB debut for the Angels in 1998, starting at third base. He quickly became an important player for the team and was named to the All-Star team in 2000 and 2001. In 2002, Glaus played an essential role in leading the Angels to their first World Series championship, hitting four home runs in the postseason and earning the World Series Most Valuable Player award. After spending six seasons with the Angels, Glaus signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2005 where he played for two seasons.
