Ted Johnson is a former American football linebacker who played for the New England Patriots in the National Football League (NFL). Born on December 4, 1972, in Carlsbad, California, Johnson began his football journey at Colorado University, where he played as a middle linebacker. As a college football player, Johnson had a successful career, earning accolades such as the Butkus Award and the first-team All-Big 12 honors.
