Aaron Voros is a retired professional ice hockey player who was born on July 2, 1981, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He played both right and left wings during his career and had a reputation as a physical, tough player who was not afraid to fight for his team. Voros started his career in the American Hockey League, playing for the Hartford Wolf Pack and the Albany River Rats. In 2007, he played his first NHL game for the New Jersey Devils, but shortly after he was traded to the Minnesota Wild. It was during his time with the Wild that Voros made a name for himself as a gritty winger with a strong physical presence. Over his 162-game NHL career, Voros scored 18 goals and 28 assists and logged 395 penalty minutes.
After his time in the NHL, Voros continued to play professionally in Europe for a few years before retiring from hockey in 2013. He now works as an investment banker in New York City, but he remains involved in the hockey community, supporting various charity efforts and investing in programs that help young players develop their skills. Voros is also an avid cyclist and has completed several long-distance bike races, including the grueling Race Across America, which covers over 3,000 miles from coast to coast.
