Al Secord is a former Canadian professional ice hockey forward who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for more than a decade. He was born on July 2, 1958, in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Secord began his hockey career as a junior with the Sudbury Wolves and later moved on to play for the Niagara Falls Flyers. Over his 11-year NHL career, Secord scored 273 goals, had 261 assists, and racked up 2,490 penalty minutes in 744 games. He played for the Bruins, Blackhawks, and the Toronto Maple Leafs before retiring in 1989. After retiring, Secord went on to coach various youth hockey teams and worked as a scout for the Blackhawks.
