Jack Hughes is an American ice hockey player who was born on May 14, 2001, in Orlando, Florida. He grew up playing hockey with his two brothers, Quinn and Luke, and followed in their footsteps by pursuing a career in the sport. At just 5 feet 10 inches tall and 170 pounds, Hughes is considered small by NHL standards, but his lightning-fast speed and agility on the ice more than make up for any size disadvantage he may face. Hughes began his hockey career with the Toronto Jr. Canadiens, a youth hockey program in the Greater Toronto Area. He quickly demonstrated his talent on the ice, racking up an impressive 259 points in just 72 games during the 2016-17 season.
