Aaron Blair Autographs
Aaron Blair is a former American professional baseball pitcher originally from Las Vegas, Nevada. Blair was born on May 26, 1992, and attended Spring Valley High School in Nevada, where he played baseball and football. He was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 21st round of the 2010 MLB Draft but chose to attend Marshall University instead.
Blair played for the Marshall Thundering Herd baseball team for three seasons, and during his junior year in 2013, he was named Conference USA Pitcher of the Year. After his junior year, Blair was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the first round (36th overall) of the 2013 MLB draft. He made his professional debut with the Kane County Cougars, Arizona's Class-A affiliate in the Midwest League, and worked his way up through the Diamondbacks' farm system before making his MLB debut on April 24, 2016.
Blair spent parts of three seasons in the MLB with the Diamondbacks and the Atlanta Braves, but he struggled to find consistent success at the highest level. He announced his retirement from baseball in May 2021, at the age of 28. Despite not having a long career, Blair was still able to achieve a significant accomplishment in baseball as he pitched in the 2016 All-Star Futures Game, which highlights the rising stars of minor league baseball. Blair will always be remembered for his powerful arm on the mound, his competitive fire, and his contributions to the game of baseball.
