Alec Asher Autographs
Alec Asher is an American professional baseball player. Born on October 4, 1991 in Lakeland, Florida, Asher started playing baseball at a young age. He attended Lakeland Senior High School, where he played as a pitcher for the school’s baseball team. Asher was later offered a scholarship to play college baseball at Polk State College.
In 2013, Asher was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 4th round of the Major League Baseball (MLB) draft. He played for the Rangers’ minor league teams for the next few years before being traded to the Philadelphia Phillies in 2015. Asher made his MLB debut on August 30, 2015 against the San Diego Padres. He was later traded to the Baltimore Orioles in 2017, where he played for two seasons. In 2019, Asher signed with the Nexen Heroes in the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO), where he played for one season before returning to the United States to play for the Milwaukee Brewers’ minor league team in 2020.
Throughout his career, Asher has been known for his strong fastball and effective slider pitches. He has a career record of 4-13 with a 5.52 earned run average (ERA) in 30 games played at the MLB level. While he has yet to establish himself as a consistent starter in the majors, Asher’s skill and potential continue to make him a valuable player at the minor league level.
