Rodriguez made his MLB debut in 1994 at the age of 18 and quickly established himself as one of the best young talents in the game. He won his first American League batting title in 1996 and was named the American League Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 2003, 2005, and 2007. Rodriguez was known for his incredible hitting ability, his impressive fielding skills, and his versatility on the diamond, having played multiple positions throughout his career.

Despite his numerous accomplishments, Rodriguez's career was not without controversy. He was suspended for the entire 2014 season for his involvement in the Biogenesis scandal, which involved the use of performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs). Despite this setback, Rodriguez remained one of the most popular and successful players in MLB history, finishing his career with 696 home runs, 2,086 runs batted in, and a .295 batting average. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2022, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest players to ever step foot on a baseball diamond.
