Andrew Knizner Autographs
Andrew Knizner is a baseball player who currently plays as a catcher for the St. Louis Cardinals. He was born on February 3, 1995, in Glen Allen, Virginia. Knizner attended Hanover High School where he showed impressive skills in baseball and football. Later, he enrolled at North Carolina State University where he continued his baseball career, playing for the Wolfpack from 2014 to 2017.
In 2016, Knizner had an outstanding season for the Wolfpack, hitting .345 with eight home runs and 46 RBIs. His impressive season helped the team to qualify for the NCAA tournament. Knizner was drafted in the 7th round of the 2016 MLB draft by the St. Louis Cardinals. He began his professional career in 2017 in the Gulf Coast League before being promoted to Class A. In 2018, Knizner continued to impress, hitting .313 with 9 home runs and 51 RBI in the minors. He was called up for his debut by the Cardinals in 2019, playing in 18 games and hitting .226 with 2 home runs and 4 RBI.
Andrew Knizner is known for his impressive defensive skills and his ability to hit for power. He has been compared to former Cardinals catcher, Yadier Molina, due to his leadership skills and his ability to handle the pitching staff.
