Anthony BassAnthony Bass is an American professional baseball pitcher who was born on November 1, 1987, in Dearborn, Michigan. He made his MLB debut in 2011 with the San Diego Padres after being drafted by the organization in 2008. Bass then went on to play for the Houston Astros, Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners, and the Cincinnati Reds. He is currently playing for the Miami Marlins.
Throughout his baseball career, Bass has been a versatile player, starting as a reliever and then transitioning to a starter. In his rookie year, Bass appeared in 48 games and pitched a total of 48.2 innings. Over the years, he has continued to improve his game, becoming a reliable pitcher for his teams. In 2015, he was nominated for the Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian Award for his contributions to communities as a professional athlete.
