Armando Galarraga Autographs
Armando Galarraga is a retired Venezuelan professional baseball pitcher who played for Major League Baseball (MLB) teams over the course of his career. He was born on January 15, 1982, in Cumana, Venezuela, and began playing baseball at a young age. Galarraga first made his professional debut as a player in the Venezuelan Summer League, and later played for various minor league teams within the United States, including the AA Erie SeaWolves and the AAA Toledo Mud Hens.
Galarraga was known for his exceptional pitching skills, including his control and accuracy. In 2007, he made his MLB debut with the Texas Rangers, and later played for the Detroit Tigers, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Houston Astros. Galarraga's most memorable moment in baseball came on June 2, 2010 while playing for the Detroit Tigers. He was pitching a perfect game until the last out, when umpire Jim Joyce controversially called the runner safe, ending the perfect game bid.
