Bob Prince, born on July 1, 1916, was an outstanding sports announcer who is highly regarded for his contributions to baseball broadcasting. He got his start in the field while still in college, where he landed a small part-time job announcing Pittsburgh area sports events for a local station. After graduation, he continued working in various sports broadcasts, including college football and basketball games.
