Brad Hand Autographs
Brad Hand is an American professional baseball pitcher who is currently playing for the Washington Nationals in Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on March 20, 1990, in Chaska, Minnesota, and attended Chaska High School, where he played baseball and basketball. In 2008, he was drafted by the Florida Marlins in the second round of the MLB draft.
Hand made his MLB debut for the Marlins on June 7, 2011, against the Atlanta Braves. He played for the Marlins for six seasons, and during his time there, he was mostly used as a relief pitcher. He had an impressive season in 2016, with an ERA of 2.92 and 111 strikeouts over 89.1 innings pitched. In July 2018, he was traded to the San Diego Padres, where he continued to excel as a relief pitcher. In 2019, he represented the Padres in the MLB All-Star Game for the first time in his career.
In August 2020, Hand was traded to the Cleveland Indians in exchange for a prospect. He quickly became their closer, recording six saves in the shortened 2020 season. He continued his impressive form in 2021 and was named to the All-Star team for the second time in his career. However, in July 2021, the Indians unexpectedly placed Hand on waivers, and he was claimed by the Washington Nationals. Brad Hand has established himself as one of the best relief pitchers in the league, and he continues to be a valuable asset to his team.
