Brian Harper was an American baseball player who was born on October 16, 1959, in Los Angeles, California. Harper was known for his powerful hitting and strong defensive skills during his Major League Baseball career. During his MLB career that spanned from 1979 to 1995, Brian played for several teams including the Angels, Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Cardinals, Toronto Blue Jays, Minnesota Twins and Oakland Athletics.
