Bruce Boisclair Autographs
Bruce Boisclair was born on March 18, 1959, in New York City. He had a passion for baseball from a young age and played the sport throughout his school years. Boisclair's talent on the field was evident and he went on to play professionally for the New York Mets in 1980.
Boisclair spent most of his career as an outfielder for the Mets minor league teams, making his debut with the Jackson Mets in 1981. He worked his way up to the Triple-A level, where he played for the Tidewater Tides. Boisclair's best season came in 1983 when he batted .301, hit 9 home runs and had 66 RBI's. Unfortunately, he was never able to break into the Major League team and retired from professional baseball in 1986.
Despite his relatively short and unsuccessful career in the Major League, Boisclair is still remembered fondly by Mets fans. His love for baseball never faded and he still remains involved in the sport. In 2013, he served as a minor league hitting coach for the Mets and has since worked as a scout for the team. Boisclair's dedication to the game and his contributions to the Mets organization are a testament to his perseverance and passion for baseball.
