Bryan Price Autographs
Bryan Price is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) pitcher and coach. Born on June 22, 1962, in San Francisco, California, Price attended Tamalpais High School and later graduated from the University of California, Berkeley. Price was drafted by the California Angels in the 1984 MLB Draft, and he made his MLB debut in 1986.
During his 13-year MLB career, Price played for the California Angels, Seattle Mariners, Boston Red Sox, and Arizona Diamondbacks. However, his best years came in Seattle, where he spent six seasons as a reliever. In 1995, Price led the American League in appearances with 78, and he recorded a 2.48 earned run average. He also helped the Mariners reach the American League Championship Series in 1995, where they lost to the Cleveland Indians.
After retiring as a player, Price began coaching in the Mariners organization. He then moved on to coach for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Cincinnati Reds before being named the manager of the Reds in 2014. Price managed the Reds for four seasons before being fired in 2018. Price then returned to coaching, spending time with the Philadelphia Phillies, but he is best known for his time as a pitching coach. He was widely regarded as one of the top pitching coaches in MLB, having worked with some of the game's best pitchers throughout his career, including Randy Johnson, Max Scherzer, and Johnny Cueto.
