Bud Norris Autographs

Bud Norris is an American former professional baseball pitcher who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for ten seasons with various teams. He was born on March 2, 1985, in Greenbrae, California. He attended San Marin High School where he played varsity baseball and led his team to several victories. Norris had a successful college career at Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, where he played for three seasons before getting drafted by the Houston Astros in the sixth round of the 2006 MLB Draft.
Norris' professional career took off with the Houston Astros. He made his debut in 2009 and played with the team through the 2013 season. During his time with the Astros, he was one of the top pitchers, earning a 34-46 record and a 4.33 earned run average. In 2014, he joined the Baltimore Orioles and continued to excel, earning a career-high 15 wins that season. He also pitched a career-high 165⅓ innings with a 3.65 earned run average. Over the course of his career, he played with several other teams including the San Diego Padres, the Atlanta Braves, and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Norris retired from baseball after the 2019 season. Throughout his career, he recorded 71 wins, 90 losses, a 4.49 earned run average, and 1,084 strikeouts. In addition to his impressive record, he was also known for his determination and work ethic on the field. He was a respected player and teammate and earned the nickname "Big Country" for his laid-back demeanor and impressive size. Today, Norris continues to be involved with baseball, serving as a volunteer coach at Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, where he played college baseball.
