Buddy Bell is a retired American professional baseball player and manager. Born on August 27, 1951 in Pittsburgh, PA, Bell was born into a baseball family with both his father Gus and younger brother David playing baseball professionally. Buddy Bell made his major league debut in 1972 for the Cleveland Indians, where he played as a third baseman. Bell was known for his defensive abilities and was awarded the American League Gold Glove Award six times over the course of his career.
