Casey Janssen Autographs

Casey Janssen is a former professional baseball player who played as a pitcher in Major League Baseball (MLB) for over 10 years. Janssen was born on September 17, 1981, in Orange County, California, and was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the fourth round of the 2004 MLB draft after playing college baseball for UCLA. He spent his entire MLB career with the Blue Jays and was known for his reliability as a relief pitcher.
Janssen made his MLB debut in 2006, but it was not until the next year that he became a full-time member of the Blue Jays bullpen. In 2012, he took over the closer role from Sergio Santos and recorded 22 saves while maintaining a 2.54 earned run average (ERA). Janssen continued to be a valuable asset to the Blue Jays throughout his career, appearing in 562 total games and earning a 3.92 ERA. He was also known for his control, walking only 2.2 batters per nine innings, which is one of the lowest rates among MLB pitchers.
Janssen retired from professional baseball in 2018 and is remembered as one of the most dependable pitchers to play for the Blue Jays. He finished his career with a 29-24 record and 90 saves. Janssen’s performance on and off the field earned him respect from teammates and coaches, and his strong work ethic and dedication to the game have made him an inspiration to many aspiring baseball players.
