Chris Clark Autographs
Chris Clark is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player, born on March 8, 1976. Hailing from South Windsor, Ontario, he began playing hockey at an early age and honed his skills with the Windsor MHA before jumping up to play with the Windsor Spitfires in the OHL. He made his professional debut in 1997 after being drafted by the Calgary Flames and spent many seasons playing for a variety of NHL teams, including the Calgary Flames, the Washington Capitals, and the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Clark’s NHL career spanned 13 years, during which he garnered a reputation for being a skilled forward who relished in taking high-quality shots on goal. He played 607 regular-season games, scoring 103 goals and 111 assists for a total of 214 points. He was known for his gritty, hard-working style of play and was given the captaincy of the Washington Capitals in 2006. During the 2000-2001 season, he was a Calder Memorial Trophy finalist for the NHL’s Rookie of the Year Award, which speaks to his undeniable talent on the ice.
Post-retirement from the NHL in 2012, Clark continued to be active in the hockey world as a coach for youth teams in Colorado. In addition, he’s active in his community, promoting the sport of hockey and encouraging players at all levels to work hard and push themselves to be the best that they can be. With his NHL career and dedication to the sport he loves, Chris Clark is an inspiration to young hockey players everywhere.
