Chris Getz Autographs

Chris Getz is a former professional baseball player who played in the major leagues for six seasons. Born on August 30, 1983, in Southfield, Michigan, he played college baseball at the University of Michigan before being drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the fourth round of the 2005 MLB Draft.
After making his major league debut in 2008, Getz spent the next four seasons playing for the White Sox and the Kansas City Royals, where he served as a utility infielder and outfielder. Known for his speed and defensive skills, he was often used as a pinch-runner or defensive replacement late in games. Throughout his career, he posted a .250 batting average, 13 stolen bases, and 56 runs batted in.
After retiring from baseball in 2014, Getz went on to pursue a career in coaching. He has since worked as a minor league coach for the Kansas City Royals and the Chicago White Sox. In 2018, he was named the director of player development for the Chicago White Sox, where he oversees the team's minor league system and helps develop future major league players. Despite his relatively brief career in the major leagues, Chris Getz has left a lasting impact on the game of baseball through his coaching and player development efforts.
