Corey Knebel Autographs
Corey Knebel is a professional baseball player from Denton, Texas, born on November 26, 1991. Knebel attended the University of Texas at Austin where he played for the Longhorns baseball team. During his time in college, he was named the Big 12 Conference Freshman of the Year in 2011 and was later named to the All-Big 12 First Team twice.
The Detroit Tigers selected Knebel in the first round of the 2013 MLB draft, and he made his major league debut for the Tigers in 2014. However, Knebel was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers in January 2015. His time in Milwaukee was highly successful as he was named to the National League All-Star team in 2017 and was instrumental in the Brewers' run to the National League Championship Series that same year.
Knebel's pitching style includes a fastball that can reach up to 97 miles per hour and a devastating curveball. However, in 2019, Knebel underwent Tommy John surgery, which forced him to miss the entire season. He returned to the game in 2020 and signed a one-year, $5.125 million contract with the Brewers. Knebel's baseball career is one to be admired, and as he continues to play, he is proving why he is one of the best.
