Craig Kusick Autographs
Craig Kusick was a talented baseball player who spent five seasons in the major leagues with the Minnesota Twins and Milwaukee Brewers. He was born on September 30, 1948, in Baltimore, Maryland. Kusick began playing baseball in his youth and continued to develop his skills throughout high school and college. He played college baseball at the University of Maryland and was named an All-American in 1968.
Kusick was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 8th round of the 1968 MLB draft. He made his major league debut in 1973 and spent the next four seasons with the Twins. He played first base and occasionally outfield during his time with the Twins. Kusick’s best season came in 1976 when he hit .289 with 13 home runs and 49 RBIs in 100 games. He was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers in 1977 and played in 27 games for them before being released in June.
Following his release from the Brewers, Kusick played in the minor leagues for a few more seasons before retiring from professional baseball. Overall, Kusick played in 292 major league games and hit .236 with 23 home runs and 102 RBIs. Although his major league career was relatively short, he left a lasting impact on those who played with him and watched him play.
