Craig Swan was a professional baseball player from California who excelled as a right-handed pitcher. He was born on November 30, 1950, in Van Nuys and attended the University of Arizona where he played college baseball. Swan played eight seasons in Major League Baseball between 1973 and 1984. He started his career with the New York Mets and played with them till 1980. Swan had his best season in 1978, where he went 9-6 with a 2.43 ERA in 176 innings of work.
