Daniel Norris Autographs
Daniel Norris, born on April 25, 1993, is an American professional baseball player currently playing in the Major League Baseball (MLB) as a left-handed pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers. Norris’ baseball career began in high school where he played for the Science Hill High School Hilltoppers baseball team. He was named the Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year in his senior year and subsequently drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the second round of the 2011 Major League Baseball draft.
Norris spent six seasons in the minor leagues before making his MLB debut for the Blue Jays in 2014. Although he made a few appearances for the Blue Jays, he spent most of his time in the minor leagues, where he honed his skills and gained valuable experience. In 2015, Norris joined the Detroit Tigers after being traded in a deal for David Price, where he became an important part of the team’s pitching rotation. During his four seasons with the Tigers, he amassed 675 strikeouts in 97 games, making him one of the top pitchers in the league.
Norris’ career was somewhat disrupted in 2019 when he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Despite the diagnosis, he continued to play baseball, and after successful surgery and treatment, he returned to the Tigers for the 2020 season. In 2021, Norris signed a one-year contract with the Milwaukee Brewers, where he hopes to continue his successful career as a starting pitcher. Norris has not only achieved impressive numbers on the field but has also become known for his unconventional off-field lifestyle, such as living in a van during the offseason, demonstrating his free-spirited personality.
