Dave Rosello Autographs
Dave Rosello was a Major League Baseball player who enjoyed a 10-year career from 1972 to 1981. He was born and raised in Chicago, and it was evident from a young age that he had a passion for the sport. As a high school student, he excelled as both a baseball and football player, but it was baseball that ultimately captured his heart. He was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the third round of the 1970 MLB draft, and he spent his entire career playing for the Cubs.
Rosello was a versatile player who could play multiple positions on the field, including second base, shortstop, and third base. He made his debut for the Cubs in 1972, and throughout his career, he was known for his excellent fielding skills and solid base running. While Rosello was not considered a power hitter, he was a reliable contact hitter who could always be counted on to get on base.
He had his best season in 1977 when he hit .325 and posted a .402 on-base percentage, both of which were career-highs. Despite his contributions on the field, Rosello was never considered a star player, and he was often overshadowed by some of the bigger names on the team. Nevertheless, he was a valuable member of the Cubs organization and was well-respected by his teammates and opponents alike.
